Slender Burnished Brass.

Habitat
Hedgerows, gardens, wet areas, wood edges and rough grassland.
Foodplant
Mostly on common nettle but also on many other herbaceous plants.
Lifestage data
Overwinters as a small larva low down amongst the vegetation. Larva July-June. Pupates in a flimsy cocoon on the underside of the foodplant leaves.
